Dave Ceccanti, Plumbing and Piping Superintendent at AR&B Mechanical Contractor

Dave Ceccanti

Plumbing and Piping Superintendent

Dave has spent more than 25 years at AR&B, building a career that began in the field and grew into a broad operational leadership role. As Plumbing and Piping Superintendent, he provides the practical experience, judgment, and direct field leadership required to execute complex mechanical construction throughout San Francisco and the Bay Area.

Dave’s knowledge extends well beyond field operations. Throughout his career, he has taught himself estimating, profit-and-loss management, and strategic purchasing and requisition planning. That range allows him to understand projects from multiple perspectives, connecting field execution with labor planning, material procurement, cost performance, and the broader needs of the business.

As a superintendent, Dave works closely with project managers, foremen, field employees, customers, and trade partners to ensure work is properly planned, supported, and executed. His understanding of how projects are actually built helps AR&B anticipate challenges, allocate resources effectively, and make decisions grounded in real construction experience.

A proud Italian American and United States Marine, Dave brings discipline, accountability, and a straightforward approach to his leadership. He has earned the respect of employees across the company through his technical knowledge, willingness to take on difficult problems, and commitment to maintaining the standards that have defined AR&B for generations.

Dave’s connection to AR&B also extends to the next generation. Both of his children work for the company: Justin Silva serves as Sheet Metal Superintendent, and Jillian Ceccanti is an AR&B Project Manager.

Since 2025, Dave has served as president of the Fratellanza Club, where he remains closely connected to the Bay Area’s Italian American community. Outside of work, Dave is passionate about classic custom cars. He has been known to run the occasional 5K for charity and consumes his daily salad at precisely 11:30 a.m.
