A request should identify the nature of the request and provide sufficient information for AR&B to identify the relevant records.

Please do not include Social Security numbers, financial-account information, passwords, or copies of identity documents with an initial request unless AR&B specifically requests information through a secure method.

15. Verification of Requests

AR&B will take reasonable steps to verify that a person making a request is the individual to whom the information relates or is authorized to act on that individual’s behalf.

Verification may include matching information provided by the requester with information already maintained by AR&B.

The information required for verification will depend on:

AR&B will generally respond within 45 calendar days after receiving the request. When reasonably necessary, AR&B may take up to an additional 45 calendar days and will provide notice of the extension and the reason for it.

AR&B does not charge a fee to process a privacy request unless the request is manifestly unfounded or excessive as permitted by law.

17. Authorized Agents

A California resident may authorize another person or registered agent to submit a request on the resident’s behalf.

AR&B may require:
