Josh Brincks, P.E.
Project Management Team Leader
Since joining AR&B in 2015, Josh Brincks has played a key role in strengthening the company’s project management organization by establishing consistent processes, mentoring project managers, and building a collaborative culture centered on client service. He serves as the operational link between estimating, engineering, fabrication, field operations, finance, customers, and project partners. Josh helps keep projects moving by ensuring scope, schedule, labor, procurement, billing, and execution remain aligned from award through closeout.
Before joining AR&B, Josh held project management and field operations leadership roles where he gained experience in commissioning, quality control, estimating support, and the delivery of complex commercial construction projects. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Tyler and is a licensed Professional Engineer, combining a strong technical foundation with practical construction and operational leadership experience.
Josh brings a deep understanding of mechanical systems and the day-to-day realities of executing sophisticated commercial construction throughout the Bay Area. His project experience includes complex, high-performance building environments. In 2019, ASHRAE recognized Josh and John Andary through its Technology Awards program for their work on LinkedIn’s Zero Net Energy Office Retrofit in Sunnyvale, California.
As the leader of AR&B’s Project Management department, Josh is responsible not only for project performance but also for developing the next generation of project leaders. He is known for a collaborative and practical leadership style that helps teams identify issues early, make informed decisions, and maintain clear communication throughout every phase of a project.
The project management team functions as the central nervous system of AR&B, connecting people, information, resources, and decisions across the company. Josh helps ensure those connections remain strong and that the right information reaches the right people before small issues become project problems.
Outside of work, Josh enjoys spending time with his family, cheering on his youngest child during soccer season, and exploring the outdoors. Whether traveling the trails in his Jeep or spending time on the water fishing and boating, he values experiences shared with family and friends.
