Scott Leatherman
Chief Operating Officer
Scott Leatherman joined AR&B as Chief Operating Officer in June 2026, bringing more than 25 years of experience leading operations, organizational transformation, technology, marketing, and business growth. He works across AR&B’s operations, people, systems, risk, and culture to help translate company strategy into measurable execution.
Before joining AR&B, Scott held senior operating and marketing positions with global public companies and emerging Silicon Valley businesses. He spent five years as Chief Operating Officer of SAP Labs U.S., where he supported operational excellence, organizational effectiveness, cross-functional collaboration, employee engagement, and leadership development.
Technology innovation has been a consistent theme throughout Scott’s career. At SAP, he held global marketing leadership roles and was a founding member of the SAP HANA go-to-market team, helping build the technology into a billion-dollar business in less than three years. He later served as Chief Marketing Officer of Veritone, an artificial intelligence platform company, and Aviatrix, a cloud network security company.
His experience spans artificial intelligence, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, enterprise risk, talent development, and the practical adoption of new technologies within complex organizations. At AR&B, he brings that background to the company’s operational systems, technology modernization, information security, organizational development, and long-term planning.
Scott is also committed to community service and supporting local organizations and businesses. He received the Silicon Valley Business Journal’s Individual Community Champion Award for work addressing food insecurity, supporting underserved children, funding cancer research, and expanding educational opportunities for Native American students. Second Harvest of Silicon Valley and The Family Giving Tree have also recognized him individually for more than a decade of support.
Scott views operational leadership as a service function. His approach combines clear communication, active listening, measurable accountability, continuous improvement, and respect for the knowledge of the people closest to the work.
Outside of work, Scott tends a small but productive garden and a backyard flock of chickens, participates in century rides benefiting charitable causes, and enjoys hot rods and classic cars. He is also a strong supporter of women’s professional sports and a die-hard Liverpool FC fan.
