Project Manager

About the Role
As a Project Manager, you will be a leader in our organization, taking full ownership of your projects from pre-construction to closeout. You will serve as the primary point of contact for our clients, guiding them through the entire project lifecycle while ensuring successful delivery. This role is crucial for our success, requiring a blend of technical expertise, financial acumen, and strong leadership. You will be responsible for not only managing complex mechanical projects but also for mentoring our Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers, playing a key role in developing the next generation of talent at our company.
Key Responsibilities
Drive business development by participating in project interviews, cultivating new and existing client relationships, and serving as a primary point of contact.
Lead the entire project lifecycle, including pre-construction turnover meetings, project scheduling, subcontractor management, and closeout.
Take full ownership of project financials, including budget management, cost projections, monthly financial analysis, billing, and change order management to ensure profitability.
Manage and coordinate with all project stakeholders, including our internal design department, superintendents, field crews, and subcontractors, to ensure seamless execution.
Mentor and develop Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers, delegating tasks such as submittals, RFIs, and plan distribution to guide their professional growth.
Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues with field crews and navigating challenges to achieve successful outcomes.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a construction project management role.
Proven ability to understand and interpret mechanical construction plans and specifications.
Proficiency with construction software such as Foundation, Procore, Bluebeam, PlanGrid, MS Excel, and MS Word.
Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of building strong client and team relationships.
A proactive, self-starting work ethic combined with strong organizational and time management skills.
LEED accreditation is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in construction management or mechanical engineering is desirable.

$125,000-$190,000 annually
